Alien 8 followed on from Knight lore, utilising the same engine with a few minor adjustments to allow for more graphics and more block types and a small fine tuning of the room and object data format. It is set in a spaceship and the player is a robot. Although different in all respects to Knight lore the gameplay is quite similar:
It boasts more rooms, more objects, better graphics, better design, more puzzles and more engaging gameplay than Knight lore. Despite this, I prefer Knight lore. Historically, it is the sequel to Knight lore - in time terms not sabreman terms. |
