-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Speeding Up Klass Of 99 Under Windows NT/2000/XP -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- If you're running Klass Of 99 under Windows NT/2000/XP then you're more than likely to have noticed that it runs rather slowly, despite the fact that you have a 50 zillion mhz processor and oodles of memory. Luckily the game features a few undocumented controls to allow you to control the overall frame rate of the game. To access these controls just start a new game and hold down Ctrl/Shift. Then press 1,2,3,4 or 5 to adjust the frame rate and 6 to toggle vertical retrace sync. With the frame rate set to 0 and vsync turned off the game will be running flat out. You should be able to find a reasonable speed unless your machine is a low end Pentium or less. Setting the frame rate has to be done everytime you start the game and it will effect the entire program, not just the game itself. It's by no means an ideal solution but it does the trick!
